From the late 1980’s Catherine Duret has developed her business as a private art dealer in Geneva, concentrating on the research of specific works for her clients from the early 20th Century onwards. Simultaneously, Duret pursues acquisitions of mainly Post-War and Contemporary artists for her own inventory. Duret also helps galleries and institutions to source works for their different exhibitions. Since the inauguration of ArtGenève in 2012 Catherine Duret has participated annually, presenting rare artworks from private collections and exhibiting the tasteful and high quality of her booths to a wider public. Discretion, liability, professionalism and a deep knowledge of the art market are the qualities promoted by Catherine Duret.
