Since 1946, over three generations, the family business Henze & Ketterer has been committed to German Expressionism, including managing the estate and archive of one of the movement’s greatest artists, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. Abstraction after 1945, New Figuration as well as contemporary painters and sculptors from Italy, Spain and Germany are further focal points of the gallery, which has two branches in Switzerland: Berne / Wichtrach is under direction of Ingeborg Henze-Ketterer and Dr. Wolfgang Henze and Basel / Riehen, led by Dr. Alexandra Henze Triebold and Marc Triebold.
